Share Your World 15th July

As always an optional gratitude section is included at the end.

Here are this week’s questions:

1.  Do you have a bestie (ie. best friend): I have a few but I unfortunately rarely see them.

2.  Do you have a lot of friends? I have a lot of friends and acquaintances, their closeness ebbs and flows like the tides. They come from all walks of life from work, school, band(s), college, and family.

3.  Has a friend ever let you down to the extent that the friendship has died? Many, I lost count… ☹️

4.   Are you more likely to confide in a friend rather than family? Friends as my family sometimes gets a bit judgey as they are very traditional.

Gratitude:

I’m grateful for the life I have right now.

I’m grateful for my writing gifts and talents.

I’m grateful that I get to work from home and live in a great neighborhood.

I’m grateful for music.

I’m grateful for being me

I’m grateful that I woke up this morning.

Your love was as satisfying as a crocheted donut for breakfast.

Your compassion was as deep and rich as a red solo cup.

Your passion was as fiery as the heart of a thousand year old glacier.

Your emotional abuse was as consistent as the phases of the moon.

Your disdain for me and anything I found remotely interesting was a death blow.

Taking all of these into consideration, I walked away and never looked back lest I be turned to stone…

Are you seeking security or adventure?

I appreciate anybody putting forth the effort to create these daily prompt questions.

However, I’d say I am currently seeking some better daily prompt questions.

This could qualify as an adventure for many of us as it’s a means of us to share personal information about our lives, possibly pick up some new subscribers from getting examples of our writing, our wits or lack there of.

I think who put together these questions and posers, etc.

As always, I thank you for reading and taking a moment to look at my writing and hope you have a great rest of your day or evening.

Our lives aren’t long but worth living

We never know what will happen next

Share your positivity with all around you

Since it’s so short, let’s make it the best.

Tomorrow is never guaranteed

Use your generosity and keep giving

Although, we’ll be dealt some adversity

In our caring, we’ll all pass each test.

It’s go time, we’ve received our queues

All achieving our goals and dreams

Pay it all forward, helping out others

Together, we’ll all reach that mountain crest.

So choose carefully, doing your bidding

As one life touches many before we’re through…

Love and heartbreak are my muse

In my writings and my truths.

To feel those extremes and feel them hard

And put them in words with careful regard.

To share the purest and darkest of feelings

With life’s happiest and saddest dealings.

–

Is a privilege and not a curse

Processing emotions and not feeling worse.

–

Finding common ground with all around

Relating your words in your blog abound.

–

I keep writing, day and night

Trying to get the rhythms, right.

–

And when I want to break my norm

I try out new poetic forms.

–

I like the technical aspects that apply

Just fitting in words and figuring out why.

In the end when it’s time to share,

I make my edits and choose with care.

Lest my poetry goes off the rail

What do you think gets better with age?

All modesty aside (for the moment) 😂

I’d have to say me, lol. I get better with age in many or most ways.

My writing is much better. My technical/business writing skills are better. My understanding of human nature and emotions are far better. My perspectives on my life and the past also much better.

The only things that aren’t as great are my physique as age starts to flush out all those bumps, scrapes, falls, nicks and sprains.

Time really does change things with the wisdom it bestows upon us all…

Pets Are Love

Warm furry animals are great

This notion lacks any debate

Providing warmth and love

There when you are happy or sad

Always trying to make you glad

Soft angels from above.

I think they read our mind

They’re company, when you’re alone
