Where did your name come from?

This is an identical question to what was asked in June 07, 2024, so I’m pasting my answer from then and here…
This is an intriguing question. I have a very straightforward answer. My name comes from my father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Anthony Andrew Aquino Jr.
I will share a quick tidbit about the origins of my shortened first name as my Great Grandfather told me years ago.
When many of the Italian immigrants came to Ellis Island long ago, since they didn’t speak English they sported a tag that read “TONY” short for “To New York”.
Thank you as always for reading.

“Chalice” is not actually a chalice; it’s symbolic, as in the movie. But it refers to the lineage of Christ. But that’s not a physical bloodline as we commonly believed; it’s His legacy of peace and salvation; Christ was gentle: “My peace I leave with you…”
Now another point: While Christ returns as a man, it won’t be like we expect. He doesn’t look the same. And, like it says, “Will He find faith on earth?” No. Anyway, the real meaning of the chalice is the WOMB: Woman’s Womb. Namely, of even greater importance than Jesus’ return is THE BRIDE! Of course she’s a Woman. In a sense, the Messiah we are really looking for is a WOMAN!!! That is the Big Secret of the Holy Grail, or the Chalice. Woman’s logic is the Logic of Love and Life. Man’s logic is the logic of War and Rationality. We need both, but this time, WOMAN IS IN CHARGE!

OMG its in danger of going viral!
This would be the very first time!
Of course, many look for it; after
all, it’s no legend! Did you see “Da
Vinci Code”? A lot of that is true!
I found it; i want to tell the world!

“Stoertz hurts!” they would tease
“Stoertz the one with seven different kinds of dirts!”
A kid from New Zealand also smelt of sheep.
“Stürzen” means “crash”
“Stören” is “bother” or “disturb”
They say “Störz” is a little bird’s tail
No one has a name like that
Why such a strange name nobody
Even in Old Prussia has?
It was to hide the one
Who bore the secret chalice
The Holy Grail.

Storia interessante, amico mio! So was the name also originally Antonio then changed to Anthony? I wish I had better roots to my ancestors. I don’t.
