  1. As I looked up to heaven I could feel your presence. I sure do miss you grandpa. Your life here ended way too soon. As we laid you in your casket and lowered you under this worlds earth, I know you are resting in peace, though my heart still hurts and misses you. Every time I see someone in uniform, I’ll salute them for their service to our country and I’ll be thinking of you and all you did as part of the U.S. Army.
