Certainly, its finality, will find you fast.

Take pause and reevaluate your friends.

Just like learning how to count to ten.

This is the time, take control of your life 

Letting others do so will result in strife.

What’s yesterday will not last 

Letting go from a difficult past.

Face your pain with self confession

Take pause and learn every lesson.

–

Do what brings peace to your mind 

Surrounded by people of a like kind.

–

What were hobbies become careers

With self belief, not what you hear.

–

Make a mantra of positive thought

Achieving all you’ve ever sought. 

–

Living one affirmation after another 

More aspects of yourself uncovered.

–

Only then will you truly be free

of old hindrances you used to see.

What book are you reading right now?

I am currently reading The Surrender Experiment My Journey Into Life’s Perfection by Michael A. Singer.

His book The Untethered Soul changed my perceptions about a great many things. Effectively, changing my life positively.

This shares the author’s lessons he’s learned at conquering the challenges life deals us. It’s very very interesting so far.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I would say right where I’m living right now. I live in the north Orange County part of Southern California in a nice apartment complex that pretty much has everything I could need.

I work from home. I blog from home. My parents live 10 minutes away, my sister and brother-in-law live 20 minutes away. Many of my friends live nearby as well.

Like I said, I live in the perfect place.

What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever found (and kept)?

I have found a few cool things on my journeys.

I have found numerous bird feathers along my paths as I was walking.

Also I have found some rocks along the way that speak to me in some way.

So I have a small collection of bird feathers and rocks that are special to me. 😊

In this time of crying.

You don’t see me there.

Gasping, choking, sighing.

Desperately, grasping for air.

Why did you leave me?

Where did you go?

Why must you deceive me?

I am reeling from the blow.

–

What did I do?

That wasn’t good enough.

Why weren’t you true?

This deception was rough.

–

All of your kisses.

Truly didn’t mean a thing.

My perceived hits were misses.

Hence, I was never your king.

–

I thought you were my forever.

Forever, plus a day.

In reality you were never.

Ever intending to stay.

–

First, you started ghosting.

Avoiding me in chat.

Barely responding to my posting.

You left me hard and flat.

You said you couldn’t love me.

When I told you “I love you”.

Your rejection, just crushed me.

At the time knowing not what I’d do.

So I bitterly reminisce you.
