This is an interesting question with a very simple answer for me. The most precious luxury in our lives is time.
I’ve wasted so much of it in my life on people that weren’t worth it. As we get older, we realize, that the window of time within which we live, is shrinking quickly.
Time is the most valuable luxury we could all possibly have in my humble opinion. I hope we have a lot of it left to live and enjoy our lives and apply the lessons we learned…
What are the most important things needed to live a good life?
This is an excellent question.
For a good life, you have to have love for yourself, a career that you love to do, a healthy balance of hobbies and friends, and a great love to support you and for you to support.
Leaving your mark. helping other people, doing good for the benefit of others that is also living a good life.
Family, friends, celebrating the good and the bad part of a great life.
This is a very simple question. I spend the most time with, well, me.
I spend more time with myself these last few years and it’ll probably continue that’s OK. You solve all your problems and figure out all your issues by spending a lot of quality time with yourself.
If you had to change your name, what would your new name be?
This is an intriguing question. I have a very straightforward answer. My name comes from my father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Anthony Andrew Aquino Jr.
I will share a quick tidbit about the origins of my shortened first name as my Great Grandfather told me years ago.
When many of the Italian immigrants came to Ellis Island long ago, since they didn’t speak English they sported a tag that read “TONY” short for “To New York”.
This is truly a very fun question. It goes without saying that my favorite chocolate candy bar since I first tried it to now is Whatchamacallit.
Milk Chocolate covered crunchy peanut butter cookie with a peanut butter patty and caramel. What’s not to love. All the textures and the creaminess of the chocolate, caramel, and peanut butter it’s amazing.
You really should try one sometime and thank you for reading.
This is an excellent question. Technology for lack of a better word has been my job for much or all of my 2& year career. I started out in Information Technology (IT)and worked many facets of that industry for the better part of 26 years. I continue today now as a Technical Writer, utilizing the skills that helped IT to document how-tos, operating manuals, and user guides.
Technology’s ebbs and flows has made my professional live somewhat interesting. Personally and professionally I have seen as and supported/worked in the following operating systems since their inception: DOS (Disk Operating System), Windows 3.1, Windows For Workgroups (3.11), Windows 95 OSR1, Windows 95 OSR2, Windows 98, NT (New Technology) 3.51, NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8, Windows 9, Windows 10, and Windows 11. The challenges and changes brought about with each iteration always made life interesting to say the least.
Now there’s team which I use for my professional technical writing (my day job now). Where everything is in the cloud (stored on a remote file sever accessible from anywhere provided you can login to the network and the VPN (Virtual Private Network) tunnel. The beauty of this environment is that it allows me to work from home or anywhere really.
In conclusion, I feel that technology has forced me to be eternally frosty and sharp. This has brought about many changes and the need to constantly adapt and master everything new to help others with far less patience than I have. This isn’t easy, but wouldn’t life be boring if everything stayed static? Mine would be.

What tattoo do you want and where would you put it?
I would like to get a tattoo of the four primary characters from Cowboy Bebop (an anime that I adore). This would be on my upper right arm to cover up a badly done tattoo of a skull morphing into a rose.
