Goodbye And Hello

They say all good things come to an end and this blog is doing just that now. I thank all of you that liked my writings and provided positive feedback in this blog.

But outside feedback and other factors beyond my control are killing this blog and it’s time to start a new one. There’s no way this flood will ever grow and ever be more than it is and it’s really been pigeon hole into a very small blog at this point.

I will continue and my posts but I’m starting a new blog now. I will try to subscribe to all of you that are in my inner circle and beyond and you can definitely subscribe to me in my new blog and I will definitely be liking again and subscribing again.

This has been beyond frustrating. I don’t know who or what messed with me, but I believe I have an idea who she is and I wish her well and hope I never encounter her ever again.

Thanks for the memories and we’ll make some new ones in my new site. Expect to see a lot more activity from me on your blogs now that I’ll be able to “like” again and I’m gonna take it easy so I don’t get shut down again and I’m gonna be very careful not to subscribe to any major strangers anymore.

QOTD:

What makes a good leader?

This one’s very simple. A great leader is a person the checks in their ego at the door.

They care about who they’re leading and why they are leading, not about the accolades and attention and money and other things.

A good leader leads by example and it works with their subordinates rather than just dictating instructions.

Rise Above Cruel Words

Lift up high

Over your head

Do not cry

Over what was said.

Words can maim

When used to hurt

Not the same

Or just deserved.

Knowing you

Is all that counts

Some askew

By the accounts.

Make a space

Between heard and feel

Well in place

Response ideal.

Consciousness

Is deep inside

Don’t regress

Or hide behind pride

Take in stride

All that you’ve heard

Don’t abide

Such cruel words.

Applied Life Lessons

Be happy not sad

Be rather glad

As quality of life will add

And that’s not at all bad

Instead it’s rather rad

And the knowledge is iron clad

Not at all a passing fad

Evolution, your life’s launching pad…

Fool Moon Rising

I was born under a fool moon

Late in the month of June

I make mistakes like any fool would

Lessons learned as best I could.

Applying all the knowledge to my life

Makes lessons learned less filled with strife.

Be thankful of the moon of the fool

As ignorance served as your tool.

In the end in all amounts

It’s your peace and happiness that counts…

Three Quantrains on Speech

When words are spoken

Mean what you say

Truth is unbroken

Keep it that way.

Choose them with care

Don’t give into fears

Lay yourself bare

Even with tears.

Just use your head

Go with the flow

Follow your heart instead

Since it’s what you know.

QOTD:

What is your mission?

My mission in my writing is to either emotionally touch people that read what I have to say or for them to recollect events in their own life that were similar.

Also, if I can help prevent people from repeating my mistakes, it’ll make them that much more satisfying.

As always, thank you for reading.

QOTD:

What are your thoughts on the concept of living a very long life?

A long life sounds great as long as those I care about are still around. Nothing is more depressing than outliving everybody and being left all to your own devices.

Lifetime Pain

All in my mind

All you need is love

Love is a drug

Love me do

Do you feel like I do

Do you wanna dance

Dancing in the streets

Dance in my blood

Blood on the ground

Blood, sweat, and tears

Tears of a clown

Tears of joy

Joy Division

Joy To the World

World without love

World in my eyes

Eye of the tiger

Eyes of a child

Children of the moon

Child of time

Time is on my side

Time of the season

Season cycle

Season of the witch

Witch craft

Witchy Woman

Woman to woman

Woman like me

Me and Julio down by the school yard

Me myself and I

I don’t want to spoil the party

I am one

One is the loneliest number

One step closer

Closer to God

Closer to the heart

Heart breaker

Heart of glass

Glass onion

Glass houses

Houses of the holy

House of the rising sun

Sunshine of your love

Sun king 44

King for a day fool for a lifetime

King of pain

Lifetime…

Pain…

QOTD:

Do you spend more time thinking about the future or the past? Why?

I think many of us struggle with thinking about the past too much and I used to as well. I try very hard now to not dwell on things that have happened to let bygones be bygones.

Thinking about the future, can also cause you a lot of stress so these days I try to be present and in the moment.

Worrying about the past in the future led me to miss out on a lot of things. We’re right in front of me I intend to never make those mistakes ever again in my life.

The Bomber by James Gang

There are some songs that come along in your life and you’re like where have you been? The Bomber by James Gang is one of those songs. There’s too much to talk about this song and I don’t want to do that and bore you all. But I have to say that this 70s tune has been somehow not heard by me, until recently and I can’t stop listening to it.

Known for their great funk songs like: Walk Way, and Funk # 49, Bomber is special in its own right.  Joe Walsh is right up front in the James gang. A lot of people don’t realize he started out there before he was in the Eagles. He has amazing vocals and outstanding guitar chops.

This song starts out with this nice (I want to call it) dirty funk rock heavy guitar like many other songs by this band. The drums are amazing and the guitar riffs are exciting.

Then, in the middle of the song, it breaks off into a really beautiful rendition of Bolero by Ravel. Unexpected and beautiful such a nice surprise.

Then after Bolero, the song comes back into its main theme and just rocks out until the end. I hope you enjoy it. I do every time I hear it.

Thank you for reading and listening…

What is the greatest gift someone could give you?

The greatest gift someone can give me is their time and genuine consideration. Both seem to be in such short supply these days…

QOTD:

What colleges have you attended?

I received my Bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly Pomona, quite happily in 1996. I had changed major three times and was pretty burned out at the time. my degree at the time was a bachelor of science degree in business administration with an emphasis and computer information systems. My previous majors were undeclared and electrical engineering technology. Since most of my units did not transfer in my major changes. It took me six years to complete this degree.

24 years later I received my masters degree from GCU in English with an emphasis on Writing. Writing (in many forms) is truly my passion and what I love to do. I have worked at least part time as a writer since 2019 (since 2022 I work full-time).

QOTD:

How have your political views changed over time?

I have become more liberal as I’ve become more educated.

This is not a knock at conservatives. We’re all different. We all have different beliefs as long as we can do that and not hate each other, then we’re not doomed as a society.
