Originality is critical

Empathy builds up my imagery

Time spent creating it all

Realizing I’m doing this

Yet I have much more I want to create…

Quadrilles are tricky to write 

No matter if it is day or night.

Words fit neatly together all in place

Keep the numbers or fall on your face. 

–

Two to four stanzas will get you there

All the writer needs to know is where.

Break the cycle

Bust up the streak

Try your hardest

More than a week.

–

Against the flow

Walking up stream

Use all you know

Achieve your dreams.

Nothing easy

Is worth a damn

Head winds, breezy

Push if you can.

–

Closer you get

Steeper the road

Leave no regrets

Nothing you’re owed.

–

You’re in control

Not the outside

Climb out that hole

Remember, pride.

–

Build yourself up 

Know that you’re great

You’re far more tough

Don’t hesitate.

–

Go for the gold

While you still can

Future you hold

Not, also ran.

–

And in the end

Your heart and soul

Poured out my friend

To fill that hole…

A future day.

Flowing to you.

About where you are going

Two Plus A Blanket

Just the two

And a warm soft blanket

Sharing to themselves.

Creating a fire

Raging all night long, underneath

As passions ignite.

They won’t expire

Until dawn’s morning light shows

them to sleep.

Then they’ll indulge

In an endless needed slumber

All day long.

Is your life today what you pictured a year ago?

I think so I’m better in some ways and worse in others. My expectations need to be just to be happy now. I think we should all live that way and doesn’t matter if we’re better off, worse off, or the same.

How much karma must be paid

For all debts abade.

Spilling of many more tears

Living daily fears.

So many lifetimes

Paying back all our past crimes 

Balance sheet aligns.

Peaceful life ensues 

Happiness in all we do

Follow our hearts, true.

Journey so vast, to
