The sun greets
Each and all each morning
It’s a blessing.

Warmed by the overhead sun
And sun bathe.

Sun waves goodbye
As dusk consumes most light
Night sky, beckons.

Settle down, gently
Turn out all the lights
And lay down.

From wall to wall beside me.
As the daylight fades.

Night will arrive soon.
Its promise delivered now.
With oranges and reds.

Crickets chirp their song.
Softly as a breeze beckons.
Soft tendrils hold me.

The first stars appear.
As light blues fade to dark ones.
Embrace the darkness.
