Do today what want to tomorrow 

Your regret is comfortless sorrow.

Do what you will as you might

Live each day for your delight.

–

Take chances turn off your phone

Venture out to nature on your own.

–

Get off the grid and disconnect

Then your peace will circumvent.

–

All that has gone and all that remains

Needn’t cause you endless pain.

–

Live in the now and live in today

Who gives a care about yesterday.

–

Tomorrow’s not promised so lower your eyes

Look at this moment and claim the prize.

–

As the pain contorted, drops from your face

And you’re filled with peace, gratitude, grace.

–

I know your life’s lessons have been hard

But ease up on yourself in that regard.

–

The past mistakes shouldn’t be dire

If you deny this then you are a liar.

–

Overcome all the obstacles placed

And watch as frustration’s erased.

–

You’re better now, than ever before 

And you’re feeling happiness more.

–

So, do remember that you did survive

Fun At Last Paid for in my Past

I have been to hell and back

Upon the most treacherous course

My life and memories in a virtual knapsack

Navigating my life, post divorce

–

I don’t know where I go next

But I know it’s going to be fun

My past days of being hexed

Are all finished and truly done

–

Endless adventures await my life

I’m enjoying the unknown of each day

Over are all my days of strife

And now it’s time to enjoy and play

–

Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed

So each our lives, we must not waste

For the hazards of our pasts we all must heed

To thrive inside our happy place

–

Endless days and laughing times

I look forward to enjoy

Sharing experiences with friends of mine

With hard learned lessons, I employ

–

Who knows next which way I go

Not even I can answer

But I’m enjoying the ebb and flow

Just like that of the dancer…

Rise Above Degradation

The cold hand of degradation

Grabs tightly in a choking grip

Bringing many down

Enveloping us in hopelessness

Nothing we attempt seems to come together

The only means of escape

Is our own mettle and strength

We must rise up and follow our truth

Violently tearing down all walls we build

Letting the energy of positivity flow in

Only then can we ascend to a higher level

Where no one or nothing can ever reduce us again…

60 Days Elapsed

If anybody would tell me when I started my block 60 days ago, that on the 60th day even before the day was over, I would have 30,000 views, 8700 visitors, 19,200 likes, and 844 comments including mine. I’d say that they were smoking something funny. But alas my friends it’s happened!!!! I still can’t believe it. I’m speechless right now…

I am thankful to all of you, my subscribers, anyone that “likes” my writings and share their comments, and constructive information on what they feel about my writing you’re all been invaluable and this wouldn’t have happened couldn’t of happened without you.

I also want to think the real heavy hitters out there that have thousands of subscribers hopefully someday maybe someday I’ll get there. Thank you for sharing and relogging my writing, and sharing comments about how it made you feel because that is what an author just needs. It’s like our life blood. 

And for all of you and your generosity, I have two poems for all of you coming up for my subscribers, and positive readers out there.

I’m just getting started and I hope I can continue to write good material that moves you enough to say something about it or to like it or to share it and I’ll be reading all of your work too. I’m very lucky to be around so many mentors in fact, you’re all pretty much mentors to me. 

Thank you all again and I love you all, and thank you for reading and bearing with my run-on sentences in this post (not the greatest example for a masters of English graduate writer but I’ll do better next time 🤣🤣🤣🤣).

I just wanna take this opportunity to thank you all, my subscribers, and people that like my writings. Truly, I’ve always wanted an audience to share with, and I hope to grow it and improve as we go, and I’ll do my best.

Thank you for also putting up with the gazillion emails and updates you get as sometimes I get inspired (a lot) and write (a lot) and want to share it. Also, your feedback has been fantastic. It’s giving me something to go on for each effort I make.

I’m relatively new still to the blogging environment. I’m only six weeks and four days in, and I’m trying to learn as I go.

There are quite a few views on here and I want to thank you. I promise I will continue to improve and write better material that will move and motivate you or at least allow you to relate that’s always the goal of my writing.

Acceptance can only be achieved through peace

Peace can only achieved through love

Love can only be achieved through trust

Trust can only be achieved through honesty

Honesty can only be achieved through bravery

Bravery can only be achieved through knowing

Knowing can only be achieved through knowledge

Knowledge can not not be achieved through mistakes

Mistakes can only be achieved through learning

Learning can only be achieved through bettering

Bettering can only be through improvement
