No need to go there.

Enjoy all that’s now

Looking back causes resent

Make today your vow.

Go outside, start a nice walk

Stretch your arms and legs

Stop negative talk

Its depression begs.

Notice the flowers and trees

Beauty everywhere

Feel a warm spring breeze 

Nothing else compares.

Remember you are alive 

As air fills your lungs

With nothing contrived

Sweetest songs are sung.

So take pause, don’t overthink

Feel your happiness 

Life passes, don’t overthink

It takes a generous heart for giving.

Take control and you’ll cruise

Embracing a life you choose.

Make the most of every day 

And find some time to play.

From sunrise until sunset 

Living free of all regret.

Doing all you that you love to do

and blazing a trail as you do it too.

–

Reality of your dreams 

Is easier than it seems.

Shine a bright example, then show the world 

What you can do with happiness unfurled.

Since in the end it’d be for not 

Ignoring the gifts that you’ve got.

Spread your love on your life’s breeze

And fly away higher above the trees…

Your life is shining so bright 

Hard to tell if it’s day or night.

You’re a bright shining star

Just for being who you are.

–

You were made in your own special way

Embrace your ‘inner weird’ in work and play.

Being you has been a series of feats

As each evolution the self completes.

–

Life will pass you, in the blink of an eye 

Live it well as you can, before you die.

–

You’ve got all of this and much more 

Life is the game and you know the score.

–

Living your dreams and blazing a trail

Taking control of your life without fail.

–

Challenging yourself and all you know

With each lesson you further grow.

–

Don’t look back unless with a smile 

Negative dwelling cramps your style.

–

Adages say “things happen for reasons”

Some short, while others last seasons.

–

So just sit back, smile, beaming with pride 

Fasten your safety belt, and enjoy the ride.

Do today what want to tomorrow 

Your regret is comfortless sorrow.

Do what you will as you might

Live each day for your delight.

–

Take chances turn off your phone

Venture out to nature on your own.

–

Get off the grid and disconnect

Then your peace will circumvent.

–

All that has gone and all that remains

Needn’t cause you endless pain.

–

Live in the now and live in today

Who gives a care about yesterday.

–

Tomorrow’s not promised so lower your eyes

Look at this moment and claim the prize.

–

As the pain contorted, drops from your face

And you’re filled with peace, gratitude, grace.

–

I know your life’s lessons have been hard

But ease up on yourself in that regard.

–

The past mistakes shouldn’t be dire

If you deny this then you are a liar.

–

Overcome all the obstacles placed

And watch as frustration’s erased.

–

You’re better now, than ever before 

And you’re feeling happiness more.

–

So, do remember that you did survive

Fun At Last Paid for in my Past

I have been to hell and back

Upon the most treacherous course

My life and memories in a virtual knapsack

Navigating my life, post divorce

–

I don’t know where I go next

But I know it’s going to be fun

My past days of being hexed

Are all finished and truly done

–

Endless adventures await my life

I’m enjoying the unknown of each day

Over are all my days of strife

And now it’s time to enjoy and play

–

Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed

So each our lives, we must not waste

For the hazards of our pasts we all must heed

To thrive inside our happy place

–

Endless days and laughing times

I look forward to enjoy

Sharing experiences with friends of mine

With hard learned lessons, I employ

–

Who knows next which way I go

Not even I can answer

But I’m enjoying the ebb and flow

Just like that of the dancer…
