There really isn’t any in-between.

Be your true self and maintain your wits

Lest you be among the hypocrites.

Share your truth and don’t hold back

Those that judge you, are full of lack.

Pay it forward with a selfless deed

Help out others that are in need.

–

Charitable acts will set you apart

Doing and saying from your heart.

–

Lead by example not exemption

This is leadership’s perfection.

–

Act from your conscience, then you’ll do best

When life puts you to the test.

–

You will pass with flying colours

If you always think of others.

–

At the end of the day, don’t be a creep

Then you won’t be missing sleep…

Change Your Lense

Take the lense and turn it round

Then look back and see its sound.

All The horrors of your past, aren’t so bad

As time has healed you, no longer sad.

–

They’re all just lessons that bared repeating

To assure, that you won’t be fleeting.

–

In a happy future that’ll never cease

Living life with endless peace.

–

Twist that lense and watch it turn

Past flames that will never further burn.

–

Take it in stride as your life flows higher

Earlier adversity now you’re admired.

–

Take those lumps that were dealt to you

And the remove them from somebody new.

–

It kind of makes it all worthwhile

Coming back from times, you couldn’t smile.

–

Just take it from me I know the score

Though there’s pain in life, there’s a whole lot more…
