Put up your tree

Such wondrous nights.

the children count

Days till Christmas

They work it out.

Weather turns cold 

This time of year 

Winter’s wonders

Fill us with cheer.

Kinder gestures 

People unknown

Our warmth festers

When not alone.

Holidays close

Just weeks away 

Twenty four days 

Till Christmas play.

Make it our best 

Winter season
