A hot sun bakes everything
Cooking us all.

Pool, an oasis
Cool clean crisp waters
Combat the heat.

Sweat refreshing beverages
In tall glass’s with umbrellas
Fruit and rum.

Soft shady cabanas
Refuge from the hot day
And quite comfortable…

We’re aware.

Frosty drinks
Filled with ice
And some rum
Would be nice.

In my glass
Tropical
Drinks at last.

Sun’s ablaze
Till it sets
Then cooler
A safe bet.
