It can’t be helped
Played for a fool.

Irritated inside
Like a fresh welt.

Such a waste

As I leave post haste
Trapped in the lies
I can’t just cut and paste.

To lows from such highs.

Foolish tears

Now I feel dumb
For buying it all
As well as numb.

Like I’m 2 foot small
Reduced to nothing
Kneeling, I crawl.

There was just huffing
No love to be found
All the while your McGuffing

When I wasn’t around
You found better
And left me on the ground.
