When is the last time you took a risk? How did it work out?

Like many of us I’m getting a sense of Deja vu with today’s question. i’m gonna take this opportunity to discuss when risks are worthwhile and when they’re not.
I believe we take risks every day. Some are worthwhile, while others blow up in our face. But you can’t let the bad moments take away your sensitive adventure, and your desire to grow through change.
That my friends is where the risk is going out on a limb, trying something new, someone new, loving someone new, changing careers, etc. These risks and they don’t always come out with great outcomes, but still worth it for the growth and knowledge that they bring.
We go through life and learn through our mistakes which risks are worthwhile , and which risks should be left alone. that’s called learning and it’s very important part of life. I pity those who don’t take risks, because they basically sit behind walls and never go out and live. The risks I’ve taken haven’t always gone as well as I would’ve liked, but they’re still worth the wealth if experience and self understanding I gained from them.
I have to say, though in the end at all the risks I’ve taken in my life, many of which were very foolish were worth it to be the person. I am now. I am empowered, I am brave, I am ready to live the life of my dreams and I won’t stop until I do. One risk, one change, one challenge at a time. 🔥💪 🔥

I took a risk by writing on my blog. It worked out very well!

I take them every day. Heck, just getting up as a risk sometimes. I challenged myself and my job and my writing and my pursuit for happiness and my best life ever I have to be brave all the time and there’s risk involved all the time they don’t always pan out but in the long run it always works out for what’s meant to be. 😊

Don’t even get me started. I am blow away at the laziness. I actually have two millennials, but they were brought up right. They know the value of a dollar and they know how to get off their butts and work. I feel beyond blessed that my kiddos work hard for their money and I love that they play hard too

Well, I do know an 18 year old who would disagree with half-arsing it. Darn if he won’t figure out every way possible to not man up. So sad. It’s hard for me to see since my own kiddos did and do so much more. Kids these days need the famine perhaps to appreciate the feast

Many millennials and Gen Zs do not have any gumption, initiative, or sense of responsibility that Gen X and the Baby Boomers had.

When we take risks, we either gain our wings and fly, or, we learn a lesson. Either way, the journey is amazing

Always and it creates what I call “Writer Fodder” no mater how good or bad the lesson is.

I like it and so true. Some of the greatest stories ever told come from life’s lessons.

And the most crushingly painful that’s why life is so great there’s just no way to half-arse it. It’s feast or famine. Lol 😝

I agree, you have to take (considered) risks. I think that’s often my problem socially, I expect things to go badly/get hurt so I don’t risk trying in case it goes as I expect.A big part of me starting this blog is to build up the confidence to interact.

Keep going you’ll find the method and madness that work best for you. There is not right way to do life, trust me I think I’ve tripped on many mines multiple times.

Between that and constantly correcting mistakes, we do pretty well, don’t we!

We try, if I can leverage that learning into a bunch of stories, poems, and books that’d be great. 😊
