The Church

The fragrant memory of incense filled the church.

Red lit candles of prayer dotted the tables in front of an enormous alter.

A large figure of Christ with an enormous window showing the beautiful desert outside.

Quiet whispers of person’s thoughtful well wishes for others.

–

Some people call this place God’s House.

–

The vibe is definitely warm with much softer light and volume in between services.

–

The confessional rooms vacant with no light on the door or line of awaiting sinners.

–

The view from this house of God is stunning as it was built into a mountain.

–

The flora and fauna of Sedona painted desert share their beauty.

–

Truly, the nicest church I’ve ever visited.
