List three books that have had an impact on you. Why?
It’s a difficult question so I try to pick three of my favorite friends when I have so many.

First, I must say this book is one that changed my life. I read this book at a time when I really needed what it shared. Book is called The Untethered Soul by Alan Singer. This book discusses and questions the concepts of wha consciousness truly is, how to achieve unconditional happiness, and what our emotions truly are. Also how they all interact.

My second book is one that I have read a number of times. This is by my favorite science fiction author Orson Scott card called Ender’s Game. Simulated wargames in zero G, space genius children in orbit learning to become great leaders, what’s not to love? One gifted child standing on his own, having to deal with what adults deal with great story.

My final book is one of the silliest wittiest books I’ve ever read. Joseph Heller’s masterpiece of anti war satire, Catch 22. Great characters and very witty dialog. Some of the funniest names you’ll read in a book. Many funny twists and turns as antihero protagonist bombardier John Yossarian tries to escape future deadly dangerous bombing missions by feigning insanity. His attempts are in vain though, because the very act of faking insanity to preserve his own life is actually an act of sanity. Hence the expression catch 22.
Frankly, many other books could be in the top three for me as I’ve read many great books in my life. These (current too 3) are my favorite ones right now that I’ve read most of them more than once.
These are the kind of books I wouldn’t mind having if I was on stranded an island.
Thank you for reading. 😊

Considering that Stephen King is one of my favorite authors and I’ve read tons of his stuff. I could read pretty much anything.

A bit deep for me. 😉
I read mainly for entertainment and escape when I read at night. During the day I read blogs, articles, and news.
Have you read any of the books I talked about?
The story of Helen Keller in the Miracle Worker probably inspired my love for reading!

I like your list. I read in huge spurts then I take long breaks then read again. I often reread books I like too.
I had to do The Miracle Worker in written play format in Jr High it’s quite a story. Your second choice is a spicy fun read.
I don’t think I’ve read your third one.
