80 Days Old / 80 Days in a Row

I didn’t realize that I posted all 80 days in a row that I’ve had my blog going. I’m still a newbie on the block here. I know many of you have been here blogging for five years eight years 10 years 15 years, while I’m just under 90 days. I have a lot to learn still, and I hope I learn it quickly.

Every day, I try to challenge myself and create unique material and different forms, formats, and writing types. I have this website I use it has 168 different poetic forms so I’m always trying out new ones here hopefully doing them justice.

I basically write, stream a consciousness, it goes basically from my brain to my iPhone to the blog every day.

I had a glut of previous material when I first started which was nice but gone by week 2. So I’ve been writing all new material pretty much most of the time here.

Truly, I’ve never written this much in my entire life. It’s very challenging and difficult, but I think I’m getting away with it at least for now.

I have days where I have writer’s block and I have to just find little ways to get something out of myself. I do exercises that get that going again and so far so good. Thank you all for your love and support on this blog. I hope my writing lives up to the comments you give me.

Thank you again for reading. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

  1. I only know that because I bought a franchise (spraytanning) in 2017 and the owner of the company was always after the franchisees to post content continuously….I used to post on Instagram three times a day, everyday and keep my story going too. I can’t imagine writing a book, I don’t think I have what it takes. But looking forward to reading yours!

    • Sort of I never thought of it that way, until I noticed I was getting a lot of views and views or what are counted. You know if you ever want to monetize your blog. I just wanted to get my writing before and I do want to write books that’s definitely my goal. I think I’m creating enough material to do that too by pushing my creativity pretty hard in here.

  3. I journalled a bit as a kid and it was always in the back of my mind to pick up a pen and start writing in my adult years but I was scared and life got in the way, then about 4 years ago I got the courage and I interviewed a bunch of people and wrote their stories, had them published in our local newspaper and even did some paid jobs for the paper but then the paper got new management and kind of went sideways…then I felt like I had no outlet for writing, til I discovered WP…and I absolutely love it!! I love this community! I’m so happy you also came back to writing 🥳

    • Thank you for saying so. I have a lot of short stories I’ve written that are from my life, but I’ve only published a couple of them in here one I’d love to publish the problem is it’s 24 pages long. I don’t think anybody would read it. That’s why I write so brief in here I know it’s hard for all of us to get through all the material that we received from all these authors on here.

Stay true to yourself and true your writing I like it and you’re gonna go far. 😊

      • Oh yeah I didn’t think of that actually…the longer stuff but there must be a platform for that, no? I only follow like maybe two dozen ppl so far, I’m trying to be picky and stay away from accounts that are trying to sell stuff…so sometimes I feel I don’t have enough to read.

        • I’m trying to build up my subscribers and the only way I know how to subscribe to others unfortunately otherwise it takes forever. I want to get a couple thousand at least so I can generate more traffic on my blog.

It’d be great to write a couple things a week instead of having to write 30 things a week to get the results I want. After work so hard, my creativity has never been squeezed out hard pretty much ever.

  4. Congratulations 🥳 I’m a newbie as well, just joined in January but I wasn’t consistently writing at the start because I wasn’t really sure of it….I want to share more original stuff but for now it’s the prompts…I’m on day 35 🤭

    • Congratulations keep going. I’ve been writing since I was 11.

And for about 20 years, I gave it up because I felt like it wasn’t good enough.

I’m trying again what the hell? Lol 😂
