Pets Are Love

Warm furry animals are great

This notion lacks any debate

Providing warmth and love

There when you are happy or sad

Always trying to make you glad

Soft angels from above.

Dogs, cats, or even smaller things

With legs, paws, and/or wings

I think they read our mind

They’re company, when you’re alone

Selfie photo-bombs on your phone

They’re always warm and kind…

  2. When I have to travel and can’t take my dog, Hamish, my niece watches him for me. As a joke she sends ‘proof of life pictures’ and I do adore them. However, I don’t look at them to close because I swear that the twinkle in his eye are absent in those pictures. I know he adores my niece, he adores my family. But when I’m not there he gets sad. I think it’s as simple as that. He misses me because he loves me. Pets are a blessing.
