Telling the truth after many lies 

Is like threading a needle through 2 eyes

Increasing difficulty is no surprise

Far too late as you will realize 

As the hard tolls add up and suffice.

–

Difficult and daunting at best 

Guaranteeing little or no rest

Always something to get off your chest

Useless energy you must invest

And more needed lies to divest.

–

It’s living your life against the grain

Riddled, complications and pain

Enough to drive anyone insane

Only the selfish are this vain

Drivers of their runaway train.

–

It is far better to embrace honesty

Far better for you, far better for me

The truth inside will set you free 

That’s the healthiest place to be

I say from my life’s experience certainty…
