What’s your all-time favorite album?
I love music questions and I cannot put one album on. I will put my favorite album and probably my top 9 other favorite albums are nine I guess.
He will be the type of things you’d wanna have on a desert island on the planet on the moon and orbit, etc. etc. you could listen to over and over and over.
I won’t digress on the content of the albums again or this will turn into a monster post. You don’t wanna read.
My all-time favorite album of all time by my favorite band as well is Abbey Road by The Beatles.

Another favorite of mine is Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys.

Another one of my top albums is the Dark Side Of The Moon by Pink Floyd. I mean anybody who doesn’t recognize this album cover is dead inside in my humble opinion.

I love Rumors by Fleetwood Mac.

A band that has stirred up plenty of controversy, Oasis, made a great album called. What’s the Story Morning Glory.

Kid A by Radiohead is a fantastic, Grammy award winning album.

Whatever and Ever Amen by Ben’s Fold Five, is yet another amazingly interesting album to check out.

Morrison Hotel is still my favorite Doors album.

I’ve posted about this one before, it’s the greatest Genesis album that I’ve never heard before that’s absolutely amazing and become my favorite, The Wind and the Wuthering.

And I could add like another thousand albums here I’m gonna end it with Replicas by Gary Numan’s Tubeway Army.

As always, thank you for reading and for listening 🎵🎼🎶😊

I don’t have a favorite album but for a more modern take, I often revisit Frank Ocean’s Blond. I have a special feeling everytime i drive with his voice in the background.

I love the second side too “because” is my favorite song like ever, and I can play the harpsichord part on the piano.

Very good list, especially Replicas. For mine, I’d have to put Telekon – Gary Numan, The Mars Volta – The Mars Volta, Flying In A Blue Dream – Joe Satriani, 90125 – Yes.

My all-time favorite album is “Dirty Mind” by Prince. As a fan of erotic literature and explicit content, I appreciate the way that Prince blends sex, funk, and rock & roll to create a unique and provocative sound. The album is a bold and unapologetic exploration of desire and sexuality, and it challenges traditional notions of gender and sexual identity. From the playful and flirty “Head” to the raw and explicit “Sister,” each track on “Dirty Mind” is a masterclass in erotic songwriting. Plus, the album’s iconic cover art is a perfect representation of its themes of desire, pleasure, and liberation. Overall, “Dirty Mind” is a timeless classic that never fails to get me in the mood.

I love your passion for music! Your list is a fantastic mix of classics and influential albums. Abbey Road is such a timeless masterpiece; it truly captures the essence of The Beatles. I’m also a huge fan of Pet Sounds—the harmonies and arrangements are just breathtaking. And I completely agree about The Dark Side of the Moon; that album is a sonic journey that never gets old.
Your mention of Rumours brings back so many memories; it’s the perfect blend of heartbreak and harmony. And I love that you included What’s the Story Morning Glory—Oasis really defined a generation with that one.
Each album you listed has such depth and character. If you had to pick one song from your favorite album to listen to on repeat, which would it be?

Because off of Abbey Road by The Beatles. I can play the harpsichord part nearly note for note. 😊

The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway was always a big hit album for me. When Peter left their music changed a lot but still on top of my list. Nursery Crimes is also a top notch album.

I agree, the first two albums that Phil Collins took over vocals on where the wind and the wuthering and A Trick of the Tail they both came out in 1976. I think both are fantastic ones. I never really heard to be honest and I can’t stop listening to. I love foxtrot as well as a Peter Gabriel album that he did that intro to watcher of the skies is something truly unique.

I struggle with this..it will take some time and thought….I’d have to say that much of what I would put onto a top 10 (or 9) would be things that not many may be familiar with…..it sometimes depends on the day, what I listend to last..and maybe what a memory prompts….

Oh, I understand my list can change too, except for the top view. There’s others I listen to a lot and then set aside.
