I love believing in the tooth fairy. She brings little ones a coin for lost teeth. Flying around from house to house and placing those shiny coins under the pillows of excited kids who still believe in fairy tales and magic. Little do we realize we will grow up and become much like our incisors that help us bite and chew up meat. Little do we realize that as we grow and can eat more hearty food, the magic slips sadly away. Perhaps it would be better to be more like our molars, hidden in the depths of the backs of our mouths, maybe never peering out, maybe if we could stay hidden from the grown up world, magic would stay around a little longer.
