What would you do if you lost all your possessions?

This has happened to me many times. I go on. I move forward. I start over.
I’ve been through two divorces, lost two of my storage units, and I’ve had to start my life a new three times now.
I find that we got a lot in ourselves and our friends and possessions just way down. John Lennon had it right “Imagine no possessions, I wonder if you can, no need for greed or hunger, a brotherhood of man”
Possessions are just things they come they go. It’s people that stay and that are important, friends, family, colleagues, mentors.
As always, thank you for reading…

I am always trying to declutter, and Iike you I had to start from scratch after a divorce and after the break down of a 5 year old relationship. Things can always be replaced. 🌹❤️❌️

It’s happened to me twice (once in childhood, once in 2014) and you’re totally right. Things are just things. It’s the people who really matter ❤️

Thank you. And I’m sorry to hear you had two divorces. They can be difficult and messy.

Quoting Lennon is perfect! My first reaction, when I saw the prompt, was, it’s only things. Are things really what’s important to you?

Exactly it’s adventures and it’s spending time and it’s doing things you love and spending time with great people and making a difference in life that is what value is and that is what we take with us.
