The crops are ready

The time is now

Work them rocksteady

Get off your plow.

Grab all the baskets 

Fill them to the top 

Work and be tacit 

As you harvest the crop.

Only with your presence

Can this bounty last.

With aggregate need 

You tussle and toil 

So that many will feed 

From this fertile rich soil.

Grab the trucks

And your van 

Load them with your bounty 

As fast as you can.

For hunger grows 

In this small town 

God only knows 

This horrible noun.
