Almost akin to

pausing a streaming motion picture

To grab popcorn.

Or is it

A form of lucid dream

I have heard one can create their dreams, but I’ve not been able to achieve that.

  It’s weird I get it again today. I was able to continue a dream and like pause it when I woke up and then hit snooze and continue it again.
