Knowledge Is A Double Edged Sword

Fervent winds blow 

stronger and higher

They ebb and flow 

Fanning the fire.

–

The more we learn 

The less we’re tame

Many things burn 

As they are aflame.

–

Can anything be done

It may be too late 

Less time is for fun

Reaping our fates.

–

So much change 

Rampant confusion 

So very strange

Is it a delusion?

–

Wake me up 

Because I care 

Before times up 

From this nightmare…
