Time to Go

It was time to go

Way past time to go

My heart told me so 

It had teetered to and fro

But her actions did show 

That I didn’t matter long ago 

My intuition let me know 

My inclination no longer slow

To continued manipulation I said “no”

It was time for me to grow

Take away her control

So I did go…
