It really is irritating, isn’t it? When we pay for hosting, and we put so much into it, things really should work properly!

I think WP upgraded me, Anthony.
After experiencing issues with likes …then comments and missing blogs…now it kicks me out mid post 🤦♀️🤭
though seriously, we understand the frustration and annoyance. Hope it goes back to behaving soon…

It’s not just that my numbers are way down way way way down so I feel like it’s happening to everybody to some degree. I worry that writers not receiving the typical likes from me will unsubscribe. 😢

it’s been known to happen before sadly… though I hope it doesn’t for you. Your blog has grown to a wonderful stage.
I recall adding a note at the end of my posts or on others comments when I was experiencing this…it helped.

Yesterday I couldn’t get into anyone’s posts from my phone, but my laptop was good to go. Today, my notifications button isn’t showing any activity, but when I click on it there are notifications. WordPress likes to play with us…

I have had problems with that also, people telling me it doesn’t show the like but comments are good to go.

Weirdness going on. I was on my laptop when I saw your post and liked it, but couldn’t comment. Came to my phone, no problem. I just posted a few minutes ago; I’ll definitely keep an eye on what happens. I don’t get a lot of traffic, but since it was a QOTD, it should get some.

I believe there are some ways you cannot ‘like’ a post depending on what device you use. Sometimes you can like through the reader, other times you have to log into the blog site. Then of course you post a comment and it doesn’t show (I hold my hand up when I’m late accessing my blog as comments and pingbacks have to be approved manually. If your comment doesn’t show by the end of the day, let me know. I check my spam and trash folders daily as a matter of course as sometimes they slip in there. Thanks.)

I’ve seen this issue talked about before. It happens to me all of the time. I’ll go in to read something, and be like “wait… haven’t I read this?”, and see my comment below. It’s a WP glitch… not you.

Maybe if there is a way to contact wordpress then maybe send in your concern and see if they are looking into it. That is concerning

I have been okay with liking. But I do have issues with prompts and also sometimes uploading blogs. Hoping it gets fixed though

It’s weird if I click the star button to the side of the post, I go into the post and like is not lit. If I click like and leave the post, then the star button is unlit. Then I go back into the post and like isn’t lit.

I don’t either but on two different devices I’m having issues at times liking, yesterday, last night, and today. It’s so frustrating.

I was able to “like” your post, but I’ve had issues where I can’t “like” sometimes or it doesn’t “stick” and then I have to go back several times 🙄

I’ve had several days where I’ve re-liked people’s posts eight times. And it didn’t stick.
I don’t know what’s going on and I hate this and I feel like it hurts because people think you’re not looking at their stuff and you are and then they end up dropping their subscription to your writing. I’ve lost several subscribers that way. 😢

That sucks! Yeah, I know. I’ve had the same thing happen the other day. And a ton of my comments ended up in “spam” of course. I’ll often see someone comment my post but it’s not “liked” and I know they’ve liked it. So crazy how that just drops off like ?? How the heck does that happen 🙄

Very slow, I used to constantly get the message. Check my Internet connection with my Internet connection was up. At least that problem went away.
