Your poem triggered me on “Numbers”:
What’s the meaning of “0”? It’s actually one — because there is always the Observer.
What is “1”? See the top and bottom? “1” has two parts. One looks at the other.
What is “2”? “2” has three features: A base, middle, and hook.
What is “3”? “3” is exactly one-half of the shape of “8”. Half of 8 is 4.
What is “4”? “4” is a four-point diamond with a center point, makes “5”.
How about “5”? The figure is composed by 6 points.
What’s with “6”? A lower 4-point square and a 3-point arc. 4 + 3 = 7.
How could “7” be anything but? Look how Europeans write it, with the cross-bar.
“8” is a dead give-away: Two squares, top and bottom, 4 points each, and a midpoint.
“9”‘ll have to be our endpoint: A space probe orbits earth twice then takes off.
“10” is perfection.
So who is the “Observer”? Even if the Universe were empty, there is still God.
You wouldn’t want God to be lonely, would you? That’s why He/She always seeks an object or partner, something to behold and appreciate.
Numbers, mysterious as they are, reveal that secret.
