WordPress Permanently Has Disabled My Like and Subscribe Buttons

I just received confirmation from WordPress, they are permanently disabling my ability to “like” or “subscribe” to any other blogs.

Well, I guess it’s time I start looking for a better blog hosting site. I apologize to all my readers and I thank you my friends that have been loyal, but there’s no way I can ever grow my blog with what they’ve done to me now.

I looked at the top 10 blogging sites and WordPress wasn’t even one of them. I’ve done everything I can to play fair but they’re not. And I don’t want to start another blog on here and have them do it to me again.

I promise I’ll leave word before I leave, but I’m definitely not gonna stay here, and I hope you all understand…

  1. That just doesn’t sound right. I don’t see how they can get away with doing something like that, I am sorry this is happening to you but I understand you fully, When you decide what to do let us know and perhaps you just might find a better blogging platform for all of us. Of course. in my case, I have to say just as long as it is a free blogging platform since I have such a tight budget. I had one blog on Blogger but was not too happy there but I still have that blog just not working on it any longer. Then I moved to WordPress and I have enjoyed blogging but now you got me reconsidering things.

  2. This makes me so sad. Please, please let us know where you go when you set up your new blog. Your blog and what you do has been one of the best parts of joining this community. It’s interesting; the last few years that I was teaching, I had a classroom blog through our school district on WordPress. At that time, WordPress was so helpful and provided so many options. Now, it seems a lot less supportive, and that was before I knew about your issues. I refuse to allow them to make me lose you as a friend.

  3. What? I am lost. So, you aren’t allowed to subscribe to blogs and like things? I think what they mean is how some people subscribe to a ton of people to get subscribers in turn. And the same for liking posts. I don’t understand how that can be disallowed.

  4. That is very bizarre, I have never heard of this kind of restriction before. Are you sure it’s actually from “WordPress” and can actually rule out that it’s not just some A.I/hacker fraud/fraudulence trying to mess with you?

    • Believe that WordPress is accusing me of promoting my site through subscription and liking, I’m not exactly sure how you can do that cause that actually helps other people sites. And I never ever post spam promoting my site in comments. I’m exactly sure what I did that was so wrong other than my blog too fast apparently.

      • That’s terrible being accused of something you’re not exactly sure of. I’m sure you’ve already reached out to them. It’s sad that companies and sites get so big they forget about customer service. Please keep me posted on your new site. You have my email. Just message me and let me know it’s you. Hugs and please keep writing.

    • Not sure where I’m gonna go yet and it sucks cause I’m gonna lose all of you. Ridiculous word presses insisting I promoted my blog through subscription and liking. How can you do that? You can’t.
