Johnny In Jest, Did His Best 

Johnny knocked and opened the door 

As he did, I tripped and fell upon the floor.

He held back all his jest 

and did his very best.

Until, laughing, he could do no more…

  3. The Elf on the shelf fell off and broke all my fine crystal. When I spotted the little character scattering about he looked at me and in jest said, the puppy did it. As I went to scold my mischievous little elf a knock at the door distracted me and when I looked back to find my elf, he was gone. Hopefully when he returned to the North Pole he told Santa what he did and I’ll get another set of fine crystal mugs or perhaps plastic would be better.
