All willows weep
Sum of all tears
Their branches creep
Throughout the years.
–
Roots that run deep
Burdens carried
Challenge is steep
Never varied.
–
Green in springtime
Auburn in fall
Reason or rhyme
Unknown to all.
–
Always alive
Growing quite tall
More than survive
Thriving and all.
–
Lessons are learned
On every branch
Our world has turned
A solid stange.
–
Feelings do hurt
Accept, be free
Rise from the dirt
My willow tree…
