The coordination was a lot to learn
Learning new ways to use fingers and thumbs
Looking deep inside, that was where I’d turn
Tapping on my desk like a singer hums
To become the next Buddy Rich, I’d yearn
Never learning a drum roll, I would fear

We could have formed a band, I am a piano player who no long has a piano but I do miss playing just for enjoyment and have been thinking of getting myself a keyboard. Just to play some tunes and keep my finger nimble when I am not pounding on the keyboard.

I have a weighted digital piano in my bedroom, and I love it. I play by ear and do my own arranging. Never a lesson just some odd playing by ear thing I have in my family.
