Have a history, fill it with experience and perspective.

Have a sister, protect her and support her.

Have a brother, share in his trials and tribulations.

Have a godmother, never let her go she will show you heaven.

Have a life, maintain it with good habits.

Have a body, treat it like a temple lest it fails.

Have a heart, always follow and feed it.

Have a feeling, recognize its source and significance.

Have a hunger, always feed it properly.

Have it all, your persistence will pay off in the end.

What would you change about modern society?

I pull no punches here, when I say everything, I mean everything.

Our society has become a selfish narcissistic, self oriented, pigheaded group of people. uncompromising and unchanging and frankly ignorant. Anybody not agreeing with somebody else’s politics is automatically hated friendships have died, relationships have died, over the stupidest trivial things.

I hope one day they wake up and get their heads out of their nether regions, or else we’re flat out doomed…

The right one sees your potential and shortcomings and sticks with you even if you repeatedly fall or fail.

The right one will take your tears for strength and purify them for you.

Evening Rains: Lune Series

Gentle rain falls

Soft mist refreshes everything, alive

With cool water.

Grass, trees, plants

Drink the fresh crystalline waters

Quenching all thirsts.

A distant flash

I can’t hear thunder yet

But it’s coming.

Storm clouds gather

The sky now looks orange

More lightning flashes.

The storm arrives

As the rain picks up

Now a downpour.

Taps away steadily

Against my bedroom window pane

Which relaxes me.

–

A sudden flash

Followed by crashes of thunder

And rushing wind.

–

Steady rain continues

The storm then eases up

Much softer now.

–

Closing my eyes

The gentle rain coaxes me

To needed rest.

–

Soft gentle blackness

Raindrops accompany me to bliss

A spec a dot a piece of the universe.

Falling faster and faster and faster.

Don’t look back just keep going.

We’re all falling together in concert.

What connections in our minds zigzag and create all of these vivid nighttime events.

What do you listen to while you work?

It’s a simple question and depends on what I feel like.

Often jazz or classical, sometimes rock or heavy metal does the trick.

Other times it’s hours of yacht rock that get me through my day.

Dancing together like a single form.

Keeps emotions infinitely warm.

Thunder provides a steady beat.

To the rainy overture as dancers meet.

A flash of lightning brightens in light.

Providing a strobe for the duet tonight.

Dipping a partner in the growing breeze.

Winds wisp violently among the trees.

–

Hold each other in the potent deluge.

The soft inviting arms, a temporary refuge.

–

Kissing deeply in endless sheets of rain.

Serious doubts that either will complain.

–

Soft lips quenched drenched in moist dew.

Quickly stealing an embrace or two.

–

In an increasing maelstrom they twirl around.

Until resting together on dampened ground.

–

Passions increased, no care that it’s wet.

Seeing how much closer they can get.

–

Very dank clothes will get in the way.

Quickly removed as the dancers play.

–

Caressing hair, gently touching faces.

Warms insides, near, and faraway places.

–

Soaked to the bone, the puddles run deep.

Saturate two bodies in intimacy’s keep.

The end of the dance they dress in the rain.

–

Sweet and tender skin almost too much.

Goosebumps appear where their lips touch.

–

Their own fury matches that of the storm.

Now a dance on ground, again single form.

–

In water-logged clothes, none can complain.

–

Last a retreat: dry clothes, cottage, and fire.

A bed warm blanket, the dancers retire.
